Allison graduated from the Physical Therapy Program at the University of New England in 1994, and has spent the last 20 years studying and practicing manual therapy techniques. Having worked in a variety of physical therapy settings including inpatient, outpatient, and in-home, Allison is committed to providing the best possible care to every person.
In practice, Allison employs techniques she learned from training in orthopedic injuries, spine care, neurologic pain, geriatric care and exercise. Looking at the whole body in order to locate imbalances in biomechanics, Allison treats the cause of the dysfunction and helps correct compensatory movement. She has special interest in treating dysfunctions of the sacroiliac (SI) joint, headaches, chronic pain, neck and back pain, and osteoporosis.
Ultimately, Allison’s goal is to empower people to be more aware of their bodies in order to prevent further injury and to experience full, active lives.
