Treating Dampness with Diet

A State of High Humidity In the Body

Fuzzy thinking, loose stools, fatigue, and aching joints – all of these things can arise from excess dampness in the body, according to Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). If you missed the post explaining how TCM conceptualizes dampness, see here.

Acupuncture is great for treating dampness, but it’s equally important to modify your diet if you want good results. WAIT, DON’T RUN!  I promise that I’m not going to launch into an extreme dietary diatribe.
